Arnaldo Putzu (6 August 1927 – 1 September 2012) was an Italian artist renowned for his film posters for Italian and British films, such as Get Carter and the Carry On films.

Connecticut artist Ray Dirgo is mainly known for his work on Charlton comics with Hanna-Barbera characters during the 1970's. He drew many stories such as 'The Flintstones', 'Yogi Bear', 'The Jetsons', 'Top Cat' and 'Huckleberry Hound'.

Dirgo was primarily self-educated in the arts. After high school, he was a sign painter and worked in advertising for a department store. Then he landed an advertising job at General Electric as a staff artist.

Leaving General Electric, he did many freelance cartoon style jobs for news publications advertising for local businesses.

He was a self-employed cartoonist for many years, and an editorial and sports cartoonist for the former Bridgeport Sunday Herald. He also did artwork for the city of Bridgeport and Beardsley Zoo.

He was married to Mildred Drew Dirgo, and had a son, Raymond R. Dirgo Jr, an instructor at the Famous Artist School.

Charlie Adlard is a British comic book artist known for his work on books such as The Walking Dead and Savage.

Adlard began his work in the UK on White Death for Les Cartoonistes Dangereux with Robbie Morrison and 2000 AD series including Judge Dredd, and Armitage. In the United States he is best known for his work on The X-Files (for Topps) and in particular The Walking Dead.

Edward Anthony (1895 – 1971) was an American journalist and writer, known for co-writing Frank Buck's first two books, and for "Merry-go-roundelays" (1921).
In 1922 he wrote ”The pussycat princess; a fairy tale for boys, girls, parents and other children".
In 1935 he began writing the Pussycat Princess comic strip.

Michael A. Gold is an American comics writer, editor and publisher. He was Group Editor and Director of Editorial Development at DC Comics, and co-founder, with Ken F. Levin, of First Comics.

Vancouver-based cartoonist Jasper Jubenvill found success, at 18 years of age, in small press circles with his creation, Dynamite Diva.

Mordillo was an Argentine creator of cartoons and animations and was one of the most widely published cartoonists of the 1970s. He is most famous for his humorous, colorful, surreal and wordless depictions of love, sports (in particular soccer and golf), and long-necked animals.

In July 1966 he began to collaborate with the magazine Le Pelerin and shortly after doing the same in Paris Match. Two years later, his work started being printed in publications from other parts of the world, most notably Germany's Stern.

From 1976 to 1981, Mordillo's cartoons were used by Slovenian artist Miki Muster to create Mordillo, a series of 400 short animations (300 min) that were shown in 30 countries.
