This marked the start of a transparent government of, by, and for the people.
Today, @EDSecMcMahon approved Arkansas’ Returning Education to the States waiver, which cuts bureaucratic red tape and puts students first.
I’ll continue to work with the Governor and Secretary to improve education in Arkansas.
Arkansas can now spend over $8.8 million more flexibly to meet students’ needs because of their new Returning Education to the States Waiver.
Another win for Natural State students and families!
Arkansas is the FIFTH state to receive a Returning Education to the Students Waiver.
Through this flexibility, states can prioritize student achievement and real outcomes over burdensome compliance paperwork.
