From the MDZ
The Munich DigitiZation Center (MDZ) has been providing the rich holdings of the Bavarian State Library (BSB) on the Internet since 1997.
It is the central innovation and also production unit of the BSB for developing, testing and implementing new products and processes related to the multifaceted, far-ranging subject of the 'digital library'.

Valuable 15th-century french chronicle digitized
The valuable French parchment manuscript 'Chroniques de France (commonly known as de Sainct-Denis), tome 1', catalogued as BSB Cod.gall. 4, was digitized at the ScanningCenter. This chronicle of French history dates from the 15th century and contains numerous miniatures.

Artist's Book by Henri Matisse (1869–1954)
The work 'Jazz’ by Henri Matisse has been digitized at the ScanningCenter. The valuable artist’s book was published in 1947. It features color paper-cut illustrations as well as accompanying texts by the artist and is considered one of the most significant works of book art of the 20th century.
