- Coordinate maintenance of library-related content
- Develop and discuss proposals for improvements to Wikimedia (especially literature-related sites) based on library experience
- Assist at the Wikipedia Reference Desk
- Assist with categorization
Scope
In scope
- Library and information science
- Libraries, librarians, and librarianship in all its aspects (historical, fictional, ancient to contemporary and beyond!).
- Information science in all its aspects, including information organization, retrieval, search, access, and manipulation (sometimes overlapping with WikiProject Computer Science).
- Archives, archivists, and archival science.
- Preservation and conservation of recorded information (sometimes overlapping with WikiProject Arts, WikiProject Digital Preservation, and WikiProject Museums).
