Generation Kenya Mentorship Impat Study:Strengthening Workforce Transition and Retention Through Mentorship
Generation Kenya, in partnership with the Challenge Fund for Youth Employment (CFYE), invites employers, policymakers, development partners, TVET institutions, mentors, youth, and workforce development actors to a strategic dissemination workshop unveiling findings from a year-long Mentorship Impact Study across the Digital Customer Service (DCS) and Sewing Machine Operator (SMO) sectors.
The study explored how structured mentorship contributes to:
• Workplace readiness and faster onboarding
• Employee retention and workplace adaptation
• Emotional well-being and psychosocial resilience
• Career growth and leadership development
• Stronger workforce development systems
