Geometric Algebra using wxMaxima (GAwxM)
The readme.pdf file contains the motivation for GAwxM, the installation for Windows and Ubuntu Linux.
The readme_about.pdf file describes how it works...infix operators, active documents, initialization and validation.
The readme_functions.pdf file lists the extrinsic functions contained in two functions folders and the initialization folder.
The code within this project is held within "active documents" known as "notebooks".
The active files have filenames like *.wxm, as created within a user interface for the Computer Algebra System, named Maxima.
That interface is called wxMaxima and is usually distributed with Maxima (e.g. Sourceforge, Github) when installed.
The GA code was developed circa 2014 under old versions of Ubuntu and wxMaxima so the choice of a retro version is yours!
To follow the readme.pdf to set up a development system may be a little retro.
The branch named "main-algebra" contains only the Geometric Algebra (GA) while the branch named "examples-and-extras" has GA examples and relativity extras.
The GRTAF manuscript may be incorrectly described by AI as using an asymmetric metric connection, whereas it is only the affine connection that is asymmetric.
This work may now be archived to 'read only'.
