According to Swan's Practical, some countable abstract nouns (e.g., difference, point, reason, idea, change, difficulty, chance and question) can be used uncountably after little, much and other determiners. Notice have difficulty (in) + -ing. JMGN (talk) 16:22, 9 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
