About Dagu
Dagu helps teams turn customer-facing production operations into approved, tenant-scoped workflows that keep execution close to the systems and data they touch.
What is Dagu?
Dagu is the managed team surface built on Dagu. It gives SaaS teams a catalog for safe actions, approvals, run visibility, audit evidence, and optional private-worker execution without handing everyone production access.
Mission
We exist to make customer operations safer than tickets, shell history, and one-off scripts. Customers, Support, agents, and internal tools should be able to request bounded actions while humans approve risk and Dagu executes with logs, artifacts, and a durable record.
Dagu and self-host licenses
Dagu remains open source under GPLv3. Teams can run the Community edition for free with notification routing and up to 2 API keys included, add paid self-host licenses for more API keys and enterprise controls such as SSO, RBAC, audit logging, GitHub Integration, and incident routing, or use Dagu when they do not want to operate the platform themselves.
How Dagu fits
Use Dagu as the open-source local-first engine, add self-host licenses when your own Dagu servers need enterprise controls, or let Dagu operate a dedicated managed server. Hybrid deployments keep sensitive steps on private workers while Dagu handles catalog, access, approvals, and visibility.
