  1. Audience Intelligence and behavioural analytics

We analyse interactions with our websites, emails, events and digital platforms in order to understand audience engagement, industry interests and content relevance.

This analysis may involve combining information from multiple interactions across our services.

The insights generated from this analysis may be used to improve our services, personalise content, create audience segments, support relevant marketing and sales activity, develop account-based marketing solutions, and produce aggregated, anonymised or pseudonymised industry intelligence, benchmarking and market insight products.

  • This analysis may involve linking interactions across our websites, emails, events, digital platforms and other services in order to build a more complete picture of engagement.
  • We may also combine information collected directly, automatically and from third-party sources to enrich records, validate company information, infer organisational affiliation and better understand audience and market activity.
  • Where we provide audience intelligence, segmentation, benchmarking or market insight services externally, we take steps designed to prevent the identification of individuals and to avoid disclosure of confidential or competitively sensitive information about a specific organisation unless lawfully permitted and transparently communicated.
  • Some of our products may involve the creation of aggregated benchmarking or pricing insight outputs derived from contributed, observed or lawfully obtained market data. These outputs are designed to show trends, ranges, patterns or comparisons rather than disclose individual-level or confidential deal-level information.
  1. Benchmarking and market intelligence
    • We may collect, receive, contribute to, analyse and create benchmarking, pricing, transactional and market intelligence information in connection with our products and services.
    • This may include information provided directly by users, customers, research participants, event attendees, partners or other contributors, as well as information derived from our own research, analytics and lawful third-party sources.
    • Where benchmarking or pricing insight products are created, we take steps designed to ensure outputs are aggregated, anonymised, pseudonymised or otherwise generalised so they do not identify individuals or disclose confidential or competitively sensitive information about a specific organisation, relationship, contract or transaction unless lawfully permitted and transparently disclosed.
    • We may use such information to produce market reports, pricing indicators, benchmarking tools, comparative analyses and other commercial intelligence products.
  2. Firmographic data, ideal customer profiles and segmentation
    • We may use information about organisations and professional roles, together with observed or inferred engagement data, to create firmographic profiles, audience segments and ideal customer profile models.
    • These models help us understand our audience, improve our content and services, support relevant marketing and develop audience intelligence and account-based marketing offerings.
    • Such models may operate at individual, organisation, account, sector or segment level. We do not use them to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on individuals.
