In four episodes, Colin was not given the time to mature as a character and make enough positive steps to redeem himself for the audience. It very much felt like Lord Debling was a throw away character in the exact same set up as previous seasons; however, I found him to be a more respectable and likable character overall. I found myself rooting for Penelope to dump Colin and go for Debling. What has been most enjoyable to me thus far in Season 3 is the development of Cressida from a static character to a dynamic one. I found myself more focused on Cressida and Eloise's growing friendship and have appreciated learning of her family background as a motive for her behavior.
