- Promote the Organization as an employer of choice to global and targeted audiences
- Inform potential applicants about the value of adding the OSCE to their career journeys, our recruitment processes, types of contracts and benefits
- Offer guidance on interview and application preparation strategies, particularly to candidates not familiar with applications to multilateral / international organizations
- Showcase our staff & mission members to highlight our activities across the OSCE region
- Engage with candidates and support our outreach efforts, especially on targeting niche professionals, qualified women and applicants from less-represented participating States

Focus on HCNM: Learn more about the OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities
Date: Wednesday, 28 April 2021 - 12h (CET)
The High Commissioner on National Minorities (HCNM) works to identify and seek early resolution of ethnic tensions that might endanger peace, stability or friendly relations between OSCE participating States or within the OSCE region. The High Commissioner is a conflict-prevention instrument but takes a cross-dimensional approach. He frequently reminds states of their minority rights obligations because failure to respect them is a significant source of ethnic tensions that could lead to conflict.
During this live event, OSCE HCNM employees will elaborate on their porfolios and how this Institution support the comprehensive approach to security. The United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325, on women, peace, and security, was adopted unanimously by the UN Security Council on 31 October 2000 and is soon turning 20 years. The resolution stressed the important and unique role of women in the prevention and resolution of conflicts, including in peace-building and peacekeeping efforts, and called for their equal participation and full inclusion in all initiatives for the maintenance and promotion of peace and security. As a close partner, the OSCE has co-operated with the UN since 1992 when the participating States declared the OSCE to be "a regional arrangement in the sense of Chapter VIII of the Charter of the United Nations". To highlight the 20th anniversary of the UN Security Council 1325, we are organizing a live event featuring women who contribute to the comprehensive approach to security.
During this live event, participants will learn about the career journey of a few of the women who work across the Secretariat, Institutions and Field Operations.
