External communications at The Apache Software Foundation (ASF) are
overseen by the Public Relations Committee (PRC). The PRC is responsible for
Media and Analyst Relations, Branding Policy and Logo Usage, and
Sponsorship and Fundraising.
The Apache Public Relations Committee (PRC) is an ASF Board
Committee, and is responsible for setting policy and answering questions about the use
of the ASF's logos and trademarks, working with the press and analysts, and
managing our Sponsorship program and all fundraising. The
Committee is made up of elected members of the ASF who have shown
merit in the public relations and sponsorship arenas.
The PRC is chaired by Shane Curcuru,
and there are currently 17 voting members of the PRC who are all
members of the ASF.
