Lighting 

PhlatLight LEDs are a proven solid-state alternative to conventional high-intensity arc and florescent lamps.   Its wide operating range, size and flexibility makes it ideally suited for a wide range of applications in entertainment and stage lighting, architectural lighting, medical and dental, avionics, machine vision, and many other lighting applications that require extremely high brightness.

 

PhlatLight is a scalable, monolithic, high power chip that efficiently emits highly directed collimated light.   By producing more light from a smaller area, its super bright point source has superior optical efficiency and delivers more useable light.   This high power capability enables a wider range of innovative, simple and compact products. 

 

 

Entertainment and Stage Lighting

With their extraordinary brightness and long lifetime, PhlatLight LEDs are a viable replacement for metal halide lamps and color filter gels in high powered wash lights and spot lights.  The multi primary color source results in a high color rendering index.

 

Architectural

High-intensity, color-changing, long-life light from PhlatLight LEDs enables new design flexibility and creativity in a wide variety of architectural applications without the complexity of using arrays of conventional LEDs.

 

Medical

PhlatLight LEDs can be used as the light source for medical lighting applications that require high intensity.  RGB light sources can be color tuned for a wide variety of medical procedures and applications, making them ideal for surgical lamps and endoscopy scopes.

 

Dental

Blue PhlatLight LEDs are an ideal light source for a variety of dental curing applications.  Blue LEDs can cure epoxies, sealants, and work significantly faster than white lamps.

 

Avionics

With extraordinary dynamic range, PhlatLight LEDs can enable cockpit and heads-up displays that are viewable in bright sunlight conditions, and can be dimmed for nighttime viewing.

 

Machine Vision

PhlatLight LEDs can be pulsed on and off at extremely fast rates and high current levels, and are available in a variety of colors for different machine vision applications.

 

Fiber Illumination

PhlatLight LEDs are particularly well suited for fiber optic light engines.  Their high brightness and collimated emission allows more light to be collected in the fiber bundle, resulting in more delivered light and higher overall efficiency.

 

General Lighting
