Our
department offers you the option of breadth and versatility
through its Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree programs in Art History.
Or intensive professional preparation at the undergraduate
level with Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) programs in Visual Communication Design/Graphic
Design or Studio Arts. All degree programs, whether BA or
BFA, are designed to fit within a four-year program of study;
all require completion of 120 semester hours, which include
the University Core Curriculum.

To ensure that students emerge as fully educated professionals
as well as soundly trained artists, all degree programs entail
Curriculum for Liberal Education requirements as well as opportunities to take
free elective course work. The University Curriculum for Liberal Education
brings students into contact with vital areas of human knowledge
and their relevance to moral, philosophical, and social issues
that confront humanity. Elective courses are abundant and
readily accessible from a wide range of disciplines across
the entire University.
