A new species of Haranga Distant, 1908 (Hemiptera: Cicadellidae: Penthimiini) from Yunnan Province, China, with a key to Chinese species

Hemiptera morphology taxonomy new species China

Abstract

Haranga amplea Xu & Dai sp. nov. from Yunnan, China, is described and illustrated. A checklist and key to known species of Haranga from China are provided, along with a map showing the geographic distribution of the genus. The type specimens are preserved in the Institute of Entomology of Guizhou University, Guiyang, Guizhou, China (GUGC).
