Okay, but are we addressing the elephant in the room any time soon? Namely, how is it possible that these things are harmful enough to kids to warrant bans, while at the same time they are totally harmless to adults? To the point where the idea is not even seriously researched? Kids and adults are the same species, you know.

It makes sense to ban stuff from kids but not from adults; we do it for a whole bunch of things: smoking, drinking, driving, and so on. But none of those things are safe for adults, and we spent considerable resources investigating exactly how unsafe they are and making sure everyone knows it, so they can manage their own risk rationally.

Where are the "this can cause mental illness" compulsory banners on Facebook?
