WHY???
What possible use could that serve?
If it is not feeding through your actual input, WHY SHOULD IT TRIM TO COUNTERACT THAT INPUT???
So basically if you pull up, it ignores the pull up and issues a nose down. ie, when in autopilot mode, any pitch input is inverted. MENTAL !
Sounds bonkers to me, and only likely to lead to disaster.
IMHO, if the manufacturer failed to mention this completely un-intuitive behaviour in it's documentation, this accident is basically their fault.
