Hypertext Application Language
Hypertext Application Language (HAL) er et internetudkast til at definere hypermedier såsom links til eksterne ressourcer inden for JSON- eller XML- kode. Standarden blev oprindeligt foreslået specifikt til brug med JSON i juni 2012 og har siden været tilgængelig i to varianter: JSON og XML; den sidste version af HAL-udkastet udløb dog den 12. november 2016. De to tilknyttede MIME- typer er application / hal + xml og application / hal + json .
