    This yrs rpt focuses squarely on Google & Facebook growing ctl of internet ad$ in Canada & rush to regulate their role viz disinfo, hate speech & privacy, etc. but suggests drawing analogies to banks vs broadcasters, publishers, etc.

    Other than broadcast TV, TV is thriving in Canada w/ total $ for broadcast, pay & streaming TV services of over $8b based on CMCR data or an est. $9.6B based on approach to streaming TV, Ad-based VOD (eg Youtube) & TVOD (eg iTunes)
