Helium is a noble gas which is lightweight, inert, and is the only element that is able to remain in liquid form below -429 degrees Celsius. There are two naturally occurring isotopes of helium: Helium-3 (3He) and Helium-4 (4He). Helium-4 makes up nearly all naturally occurring helium.

Rare gases are a group of four noble gases that include neon, argon, krypton, and xenon. These gases are primarily utilized for their chemical inertness, optical properties, and electrical properties.
